Yes sorry! I don't know if I'm actually allowed to do that, but I was excited when I saw it myself and thought maybe some early August filers have also unknowingly already been approved!

To anybody who has been checking their case status on just the egov website please see below from one of the July filers -

https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov

"Thanks for sharing that link, I hadn't yet made an account yet on the site. I was using this link https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do to check my case status and it was never updating.

I made an account on your link, added my case, and what do you know, I was approved on 02/19/19 exactly 7 months from my NOA1 of 07/19/18

It's weird that I didn't get an email when I included my form for the email along with my petition, as well as nothing in the mail was received yet. But i'm very happy, if you haven't made an account and added your case on myaccount.uscis then I suggest you do so."

opps... sorry i read it too fast.... it was from someone else...

From what I have seen many times. What seems to happen a lot is your case status on uscis will show no updates then all the sudden you receive approval notice in the mail. They are also delayed on updating their case status on their own website. So, everyday (several times a day) I check the website and my app. And I check my mail at home everyday. I can almost guess that they won’t all be updated at the same time. But as of right now, uscis oficial website case status is the most important one.

This wait is killing us...

That’s right! This happened to a September filer today. They got their approval by mail but the website didn’t update at all. I’ll tell my husband to check the mailbox every single day lol

Seee...ugh. I’ve become obsessed with checking our status and making sure I check my mail box everyday. It’s kinda sad.

I don’t want to the bearer of bad news but has anyone looked at uscis website? TSC, just backed up some more. 😢😢😢😢

It’s still 6.5 to 8.5 months, officially working on July 2, 2018. Clarify what you are looking at.

What range are you seeing? The site for me keeps alternating between "website temporarily unavailable" and the old 6.5-8.5 months. I hope it's not too much slower :(

How nice would it be if they added a case update when they touch your file...would save lots of people so much of that extra stress and worrying for however amount of time they take to work on each file.

Omg, I was just telling my co-worker that today. At least knowing it’s in someone’s hands and not sitting in an inbox.
