Nebraska August filers... :( Looks like we are going to be the last standing, unfortunately. It appears we will start seeing majority of approvals sometime in May/June.

Hopefully, sooner. Wishful thinking.😫

Hang in there everyone.

Try calling 1800-375-5283 or 212-620-3418. I think the last number is better. Let me know how it goes please.

My husband called them early this morning, the 1800 is a teller (he said that its still on process and wait for an email) on the other hand 212 is an automated machine for department of homeland security

Wow, hoping all goes smooth for you too! NOA2 is the second notification from USCIS when (hopefully) the petition is approved. I'm predicting we will hear back February/March 2019. Fingers crossed!

Hi thanks for sharing. I’m assuming this is for Potomac service center. Can you please update your timeline because it gives us rough estimates please. Again congratulations and this gives us all hope that they are moving right along🤗

I don't want to make you feel like you're violating people's privacy by using the app! When you search in the app it returns case numbers that increment by 1. If it was only searching through case numbers that others were tracking in the app we'd be seeing huge jumps in between the numbers (because just like VJ, not everyone uses the app). This means that it is searching through all cases that USCIS has. There is no difference between using the app and looking up case numbers individually on the USCIS website except that the app makes it much faster.

My mistake. You’re exactly right.

What were the RFE(s) about?

Does anyone receive an update on their petition? Waiting for USCIS approval is truly frustrating. Our petition process should not be affected by the gov't shutdown since this is a paid govt service, but in my perspective, based on what's happening it seems that everything slowed down (well in tsc) after the last gov't shutdown.

It has slowed down tremendously. The only approvals I e seen were Potomac service center. They are approving November’s already. I wonder if there isn’t a number we can call to find out what is the hold up with Texas. It used to be one of the faster centers now they have slowed down tremendously.

Calling them is somehow useless, when my husband called last time the agent told him that's its still on process and just wait for an email. (I gave him the number given on the previous thread)

It’s true..there is nothing any of us can do. I’ve seen people’s Petitions pending for over a year for no reason....they can slow down processing at anytime for any reason when given direction to do so. It is the shadiest government system in place.  You can have the best attorney out there and still there is nothing you can do to speed them up. I remember when we sent our petition 7 months ago. I hoped it would end up either in Vermont or Texas because of how fast the processing times were. Never thought it would slow down this way. It is truly sad...

Hey guys

I am new to this thread. I am the spouse of a US citizen, and am looking to move to the US. I am from London. How long does the process take start to finish (roughly)?

Hi, I'm from London too and also the spouse of a US citizen. The entire process from start to finish takes about 12-15 months right now, if all goes smoothly. If there's any hiccups, it can take a lot longer. We sent our I-130 on August 10th 2018 and are currently on month 7 with no updates yet. Good luck!

At this point I can’t even answer how long. A few months back I would have said if there’s no issues, up to a year...now, I have no clue. It’s bad.

Yes, same! I was so happy that our petition went to Texas and then.. lol. On the website it says 6.5 months to 8.5 months, August filers are already on month no. 7 so not long now either way :)

Put it this way, in December my estimated approval of my 130 in VJ was February, now it’s at the end of April. That is how much TSC has slowed down.
