Is not safe to screenshoot your whole case number and let everybody see , you better cross it out . Congrats again

Thank you. I realized that after. You know how to delete the post, because I have no clue? They need a lot more information to do anything anyway. No information tied to my case number.

What website was that update from regarding NVC

https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/changeLostPassword.do

It’s linked to the case tracker app too. I received a text, email and my case tracker was updated all at the same time...Lol my phone went crazy at 7 this morning.

I know how everyone is feeling. I thought I would never see my status change. It feels good knowing things are moving along.

Did they update the case status online for you? Mine is still the same.

Also I wanted to check if the NVC has received my case, when do u think that's appropriate to do so. I am aware being assigned a case number can take up to 8 weeks, but I just want to to know if the NVC have received the case.

Mine was updated online the day after I got my Noa2 in the mail. On this site.

https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/changeLostPassword.do

I would call 7-10 days after USCIS mailed it off to see if NVC got your application.

You should give them a call at 603-334-0700 tomorrow or email them at NVCInquiry@state.gov.

Just checked online, case status hasn't been updated online so I'll get hubby to call. Case was approved 31/12/18 so it's been two weeks

I would definitely have him call or email them. They respond to emails pretty fast,  then he should call once a week to see if they have assigned you all a case number. That can take 3-8weeks. If you get to 6 weeks ask for a supervisor review.
