Hi VJ Members,

As I paid my AOS & DS-260 fee a few days back just curious what documents will be required at the interview at Islamabad embassy. As per information

  1. Marriage Certificate  (Urdu, English, Nadra) original plus copy and do I need normal copies or attested one from Foreign affairs office.
  2. 2x2 pictures.
  3. Wedding Album and other pictures etc.
  4. Valid Passport.
  5. Medical reports.
  6. Do I need a police certificate?
  7. Or do I need any other documents from my USC Wife?

Thanks

Wife born in Lahore, Pakistan but now USC so Naturalization Certificate?

I think have to provide my Birth Certificate too.

But most of the people did not mention Police Certificate in Islamabad Embassy review but I can manage it.  Its, not a big deal as I applied for one when I filed for i-130 but now its expired as only six-month validity but unfortunately not required for USCIS step.

Thanks

Don't forget to take last year IRS transcripts of your spouse.

Just was reading thru your posts here.  Any document photocopies given to nvc, must then be originals when brought to ur interview, including w-2s.  To prove no documents were tampered with.

Tax transcripts are best but if that's not possible copy of tax returns,  but if u do copies make sure ur w2s are original.

Also police certificate aren't needed for those who have only lived in Pakistan.  You can find this stated by the us embassy in Islamabads, pre interview statement on their website.

Well i am not sure about this but you should get a PCC on a safe side.I got mine in one week.

After paying AOS & DS-260 fees they will ask you to upload financial documents of your spouse & then afterwards your civil doucuments including

.Passport biographic page

.Passport size pic

.Marriage certificates( Narda marriage certificate,Original Urdu nikkah nama & English translation)

.Birth certificate( both Nadra & original one if you have.)

.Police character certificate.

Tax returns & tax transcript of the recent year 2017.

Passport size pic with white back ground to be uplaoded at CEAC site  & for the interview as well.

When you upload your documents at CEAC they do require a PPC.

We selected i-864 Form because My husband is the sole sponsor. Most family-based immigrants use this form to show they have adequate means of income & your wife's income should be above 125% of poverty guidelines.

oh, Thank you so much and my wife is also Sole Sponsor and her income is above 125% of poverty guidelines that I think above 20,575 $ for to household. So instead of i-864ez we should use i-864?
