Hi,

i came on permanent green card to usa in 2015 on marriage visa. When the time came for filling n400 my wife falsely accuse me of domestic violence and called police. When police came they saw nothing and gave us warning. later my wife left home with two of our kids to shelter home and took temporary restraining order against me and kick me out of the home. She is doing all this to ruin my immigration. My question is how i safe myself from her....(from last one year she is having bad behavior with me at home)

Can i file for divorce....what course of action shall i take to save myself. she is ruining everything which i worked for. i dont have much money to hire lawyers and i am the only bread earner of the home. She never work and uses her credit card to pay bills for the time being. I am paying rent of the home and she is asking owner to gave her eviction letter....so she can go to shelter home. from going all this this i am already in depression. I dont know what  her intentions are.  No where to find help. this system she is using against me. where i have no clue what next she do with me.

1. Divorce. 2. Unless she has solid proofs of any domestic violence, you have nothing to worry about.

Get a divorce ASAP, run away from that toxic person.

You are already a permanent resident and she can't take that from you, there is nothing she can do without physical proof against you.  Keep records of everything she says to you.

Divorce seems to be the only option here.

Regarding N-400, I sssume you have checked that you meet the physical presence requirements? In July you posted that you were living overseas. And you have previously mentioned spending only 19 months out of the previous 36 in the USA so you were close to the limit there.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

Now a US citizen!

I had green card and had domestic violence .. So no one can tell you more accurate information than me.

After Domestic violence case I was successfully naturalized.

You have to worry about nothing at this moment cause you never been charged or convicted.

1- Do you have 10 years green card?

If you were never actually arrested or charged with anything, it won't affect being approved for the N400.

File for divorce and end the marriage.
