I had my interview last year (2K5) in November. After the interview I did not get any stamp and the officer said I was approved and that I will get my card soooooon. Its Feb and I have not received my temp Gcard. Does any one have the same experience? Please let me know and share yours.

Thanks

Is there an alternative available other than to wait for the card??

Nope no stamp... they don't stamp in B'more (thats what I was told) and the office actually said she was going to recommend an approval and the case had to be reviewed by a senior.

I had my interview in Nov and did not receive the card... I made an infopass appointment and found out that they claim to have mailed it Nov 17th.. I have had to file a I-90 to get a replacment...

Maybe you should get a infopass to check...

I was one of those folks, my wife had to do her biometric again even though it was less than 6 months. We had the interview and you get the normal please do not call us until the 120 days have passed by then you should receive your green card. ON the positive side, with the Approval letter if you are closed by an uscis office you can make an INFOPASS appt and have them stamp her passport(we did), then it just a matter of waiting for the card. As with the passport stamp you don't need to worry about AP it's just valid as the GC itself ours was dated for 1 year

Sadly the 120 days passed and the card never showed up we were about to go to the uscis office to ask them whats' going on then i Got a letter saying we need to go fo another biometric, not sure if they lost it, what happened.

Positive note

Once the biometric was completed we received the Green card within 2 weeks, so

CHEERS!!! It's nothing to worry about it's more an INCONVENIENCE, what can we do, we are at the mercy of the USCIS, But i wish someone there could explain to us why we had to do it again, No ANSWER just go and do it again we were told.

Gone but not Forgotten!
