N400 case status updates

Hi everyone, after the biometrics appointment, how long did it take before your online status changed to "In line for interview"??

I mean im already mentally prepared that this process will most likely take a year 😩 lol..just want to know how long before your online status changed..thank you

I think the "in line for interview" status either isn't used at all anymore, or is used in only a few cases.  That's my understanding at least.  So the next would be when interview is scheduled which as you say is likely to be a bunch of months, depending on city...

For my case it was four days, but that was over a year ago. I’m still in line for that interview! 😩

I think their website is kind of terrible, to be honest. So, don’t take it to heart if there isn’t much change in your case status. 🙂
