we being all those that are currently in a if you bother us too much your likely screwed group who have been dealing with the embassy in Egypt group.

with that being said there is no telling exactly how long you will be waiting, I personally know someone who finally got contact from Embassy 50 days after interview, however they did not have additional papers to turn in.

as our case my husband went in for his interview on Aug 26th, everything was there all evidence multi visits over 100 pictures family registration, shared apartment in USA, and he was handed back his passport, white slip with only the box "Administrative Processing" checked. He asked if we were missing any papers and he said no that he just needed to review the case again. I sent an email that day asking for clarification on what needed further processing, I still have yet to get an answer and that was 5 days go.

I would recommend the 60 day wait for them to contact you, do not try and reach out to them except to clarify with the CO told you and then wait it out.

this may explain (and may not)

but in the Arab world first and last names are so often used over and over

When in AP if a name pops up with a warning,  additional security must be followed

they will address the additional eveidence they have asked for when the security proceedures have  been completed

wishing all of u the best

i know the waiting is hard

we went thru 6 years of waiting

and bearing all personal and private income and information makes us all feel the same (exposed with someone else in  control of our future )

but there will be an end and if you are patient and just provide immigration with anything they ask for, you can succeed and be together

I guess I'm a little confused  because I was told to send the papers in so you all could review them
And let me know if I could have my visa
So I'm wondering how long will it be before  someone contacts me to get these papers so they can be reviewed
In cairo
Thank you too much.
