Files at NVC , now what?

Hello, so I sent out my application i129f on January 31 2018, I got my approval letter about 2 weeks ago and I already have my NVC case number , I tracked and it says at NVC, now what? Is there anything else I have to pay? Anything I have to fill out ? How long does this process usually take until the end ? My fiance is from Ukraine.

After I got my case number I went ahead and scheduled a medical. I also made sure to check the CEAC website for any updates. I don't know about Ukraine but in Denmark/Sweden I had to wait for the Swedish Embassy to send the checklist to the US citizen before I could schedule my interview. I had already received a checklist from other people who had been through the same Embassy as me earlier though, so that I could make sure I had most documents ready. I have heard that in some countries you have to send something back to the embassy and I think they then schedule the interview. Probably best to ask someone from your own country about that. I wouldn't know. 

You have to fill out form DS-160 before attending the interview. You pay the fee for the form when you schedule your interview (the price was around 2000 in Swedish currency I believe). 

My medical costed almost 4000 DKK Danish currency and I also had to get my x-ray taken which was 500 DKK. 

 

I was approved July 6th at USCIS and I'm currently waiting for my passport back which should be arriving any day now. Of course the amount of time it will take for you will depend on if you have all your documents ready quickly and if you can get your interview scheduled soon after you receive your checklist.
