Hi Guys,

we finally got our interview letter and we are scheduled for the 2nd of May for our interview, just a quick question will it be safe to travel on a conditional green card to foreign country? I mean can they still have an obligation at the port of entry if your green card is conditional?

I just came back from my trip to Russia. The officer just asked me where I went, how long the trip was, and what I was doing there, and then I was good to go. My travel passport and green card are on different last names, but he didn’t ask me about that (I had my marriage certificate with me just in case). So you must be good!

EAD date got retrogressed.  USCIS.gov website was showing that EAD was getting processed for Sept 29th receipt date yesterday.  Today it shows Sept 6th.  Our receipt date is Sept 17th but entered into the system is Oct 10th.  Not sure what the heck is going on with these updates on USCIS.gov site.

I had my interview today. It was a hard interview because we didn't expect some of the questions that were asked but we got approved on the spot.

Any September filers get approved for their combo card recently? We filed Sept. 21 and still waiting - 194 days so far.

My husband's uncle is terminally ill and we were intending of returning to the UK next week to try and make it before he passes. Unfortunately it's looking like we might not make it. Looking for any signs of hope at this point.

I heard they changed the timelines again on USCIS processing times.

However if there's emergency like that, I would make an info pass appointment for an emergency advance parole. I believe you would need some documentation on his uncle's status.

When we originally filed the processing time was 2-5 months. It's now 5-7 months. I've filed for an expedite request but haven't gotten very far with that.

We have supporting documents for his illness, however there are no infopass appointments available at the Las Vegas office. I've checked every day for the past couple of weeks and nothing. I've been trying to contact them to see if they take walk-ins for emergencies, but nobody is actually on the other end of the phone over there. It's probably worth just showing up and hoping they'll accept a walk-in.

Hi Guys we are September filers and just recently received an update through the app about approval for the combo card, but does anyone know how long will it take approximately for us to have the card in the mail?

Thank you! to those still waiting , hang in there. We were worrying and the message finally came.

Alex's interview is April 11 and we're excited and we sat down to pull everything together and you guys . . . my entire AOS package I sent in isn't saved on my hard drive anymore. We recently moved and I can't find anything and I'm freaking out.

What all do I need to try to recreate/pull together for Thursday? We have the list, but omg I won't have what we submitted and I'm freaking the hell out.

My wife talked to customer service rep and she told that we have to wait for 2 more months or so.  Our receipt date is sept 17th and nothing has changed for EAD.  Our GC status changed 2 months ago saying that our case was ready to scheduled for interview.  No change in status after that as well.  Very frustrated.
