Has anyone gotten SSN yet? I would like to know how long I should expect to receive SSN after EAD arrival. Thanks in advance!

I received my SSN the same time as when my EAD arrived. They came in separate envelopes but arrived the same day.

Yay!!! Mine was approved on 2/18 and my EAD/AP card arrived in the mail on 2/23. Yours is just a day or two away!

So fustrated!!!! Sep 10th and still waiting for approval

Sorry to hear that you are still waiting. You can contact USCIS since your filing date is within the inquiry dates posted. If you haven’t received it by now, it has passed their normal processing time window. Good luck!

I tried but it won't let me submit a form online until the date on the USCIS says sep 11. I guess I'll wait another day to submit

Congrats on all EAD/AP approvals as to date. Like always, I hope this comes across as polite as possible- please if you have an updates/approvals from EAD/AP (if not already) would you mind updating your profiles? Just as you guys would expect from July/August filers... Gives us all months after you guys hope. Takes less than 3 minutes but makes a little difference. Thanks guys :) :) :)

Hello guys. I am a September 2018 filer from Queens, New York. I just received my interview appointment  (first week of April). I was pleasantly surprised that we were scheduled very early. I  believe expediting the EAD helped because I had the EAD since October 2018.

Congrats! EAD and AOS are two separate applications and shouldn't have any influence on how fast one or another goes.

At this point it feels like they're just winging it, what's kinda frustrating.

I know someone from LA (I think they have at least a 1 year processing time) that is still waiting (filed about 8 months ago, so no shocker) while other people who filed almost at the same time already have their interview at that same office without expedite.

They should work on the cases in order of arrival, but it seems like NBC just schedules random cases for interviews at local offices.

Anyways, congrats on your fast interview and I hope you get approved soon after the interview! (If not on the spot)

Enjoy this time :D You can't look for a job, and you have a great explanation to give to whomever wonders why. After EAD there's no reason not to job hunt 8hrs a day...

Or, maybe you're going back to your old employer?

My old employer told me I can do that whenever I want (but it’s in new York... and that’s cold..)

i rejected 3 possible opportunities so far 😑 (my profile is not open to job offers...)

I believe with this much build up, I can take any company to Forbes 100 in a matter of days 😂 that’s how much I want to work lol

this is more frustrating than anything... I need a car! I need to switch my license! I’m going coucou 😆
