I'm so upset right now. our EAD has been sent to Lee's Summit, MO and they are just processing June. We're closest to the USCIS office in Omaha (that's where my husband got his fingerprints done) and they are processing past our due date so I called today to find out what's going on and was told by the phone update that our application was in MO. Anyone else having this issue?

Oh no!

Yes, all of us, lol. All concurrent filings of EADs and AP's with pending marriage based AOS applications under category c9 are processed at the NBC in MO. All of them no matter where you are from.

So you are looking at the wrong service centre. They are currently processing Sept 2nd. The NBC is processing EMPLOYMENT based EADs from June 14th. That's probably what they assumed you were.

There is also a Oct 2 NOA1 EAD/AP that got approved over the weekend.

Hey September,

Anybody received SSC yet? Just went to the office today to check status and they had no updates about it.

Cheers!

Are you talking about SSN? Did you apply for SSN on your I-765 or did you just go in with your EAD?

Nope they didn’t accept my received date. Now waiting for it to show 10th. But the problem is the other website is messed up and it doesn’t have a submit date for me 🤷🏻‍♀️ So I’m waiting till process date shows at least 10th (when I received the texts)

Hey,

Yes, that is what I am talking about and indeed I applied along with EAD, now it seems like it was mistake, because things are not really faster this way...

Faster what way? You could have applied for your SSN upon arrival and before your I94 expired. Applying for it on your I765 and waiting 4 to 6 months IS the next fastest way.....you dont have any other choice....

That or just by going to the SSA office right after receiving EAD card.

If You Did Not Request an SSN While Completing Your I-765 – Visit an SSA Office If you did not request an SSN card on your I-765 application, “Application for Employment Authorization”, you must visit a Social Security office to apply for your Social Security number and card after you receive your Employment Authorization Document (Form I-766) from USCIS.

You can't request another SSN when once's being produced for you. It takes 2-3 weeks after EAD arrival for your SSN card to come in (if you applied for one on your I-765) You could try to go to the SSO and see if they can give you the number, but idk if it's produced already.

If you go early the wait usually isn't that long (at least where I live lol)

^^^yes that would be the last way to obtain an SSN (well aware) but the OP seems to be concerned with the word "fast" so I gave him the "fastest" option.
