I think what they mean is you need to, in addition to filing FBAR electronically in the Fincen system, also in the 1040 fill out Schedule B Part III. We're just getting to this part too.

You have me reading about FBAR and FATCA now. I read something about FBAR being filed separate from the tax return but I also read something about a Schedule B to be filed with the ITR (a bit confusing).

Do you have any info on that as I do have an overseas bank account still?

Guys this is about  "if you ever had any account with 10k or more at any given time on 2018" right?? Not about current but at any moment?? Cause I closed my bank accounts and sent everything here already... I don't know what to do.

As soon as I get some info from my accountant I'll let you know because yes, it is about "at anytime in 2018 etc". Mine are open though. I'll ask him if there is a difference.

Hi Everyone, We got notification in the mail today that my EAD and AP have been approved from 02-08-2019, card will follow they say. we applied for all three parts on September 2  2018 with NOA on September 15, I had my bio on October 10, here in Milwaukee, a quick process, about 20 minutes including waiting, very nice people and it without any problem, so, just waiting for the interview, but at least we are a step or two closer, it has been a long 18 months since we sent the I-129f in!

Congrats. Could you update your timeline please?

I think there are many to update their timelines (not to sound anyway disrespectful) - my VJ timeline ain't that far off off my case inquiry date-although that may be accurate currently in current processing times. Hopefully more approvals keep flowing and many continue to update their timelines to give us little months after September hope :)

I didnt mean to sound disrespectful in my initial post either but I dont think many ppl realize that VJ relies on the info we as members input into our timelines to predict our own timelines. My estimated EAD approval date is based on the timelines of everyone else so if no one is filling their timelines out, the stats that VJ reports to us are as useful as the same chocolate teapot that we call the SSA.
