They are the same, the whole package with AOS/EAD/AP was rejected. I'm still waiting for it to return by the way!

Ok I was just curious since they split them up if they all changed to the same thing. Also curious to see how it makes it back to you after such a long time if they had already split it up. I am not really sure how that all works.

Well the I-131 and I-765 are dependent of the main application I-485, so even if there's no fee for them, they were rejected too. But now you say that, I hope they didn't split them and all the applications will be returned!

That makes sense but with the efficiency of USCIS I wondered if it was possible for them to let it slip through the cracks. I do wonder how it took them so long to figure it out since they do not even process the checks as checks but rather electronic debits. As in the process it like capture rather than capture 1. Edit or the first picture vs the second depending on how it shows up for you.

I'm sorry I don't get it. But the bank told me they never try to cash the check, but I think the cause was my check wasn't pre-printed like they ask on this page https://www.uscis.gov/forms/paying-uscis-fees . It took them probably a few weeks to realize that.

They don't actually send your check to the bank they use an ACH transfer using the numbers off the bottom of your check so that there is no chance the check bounces later. Like they do at most stores now and give you your actual check back. Are you saying you used a counter check like you get when you first open an accountant?

Yes I used one of the checks they gave me when I opened my account.

Yes that is probably the issue as the machine probably didn't pick up the handwritten numbers correctly. It's possible someone else's account was debited and they later disputed the charges and the bank recovered the funds from USCIS which would explain the delay. Will likely never know exactly what went wrong but that seems plausible.

The numbers were good, it's just that the name and address must be pre-printed on it.

By the way I received the status saying my applications were rejected changed on saturday morning October 20th, the package hasn't been returned yet. Does anyone knows how long it takes to get my rejected application back?

Hi guys,

My PD day is 09/07/2018.

My biometrics appointment is 10/04/2018

And since then I haven't heard any updates status. It only says, "My Fingerprint Fee Was Received". I don't know if it's normal y'all. I'm so anxious to see other people with the same timeline but their status already changed to "Ready to be scheduled for an interview".

So don't worry too much, it happens that the status stay like that, it's possible that they'll never change until your green card approval. It's frustrating to not be updated I know!
