What do you mean how it goes from there?

U go to your biometrics- it lasts anywhere from 10-30 mins

Then you wait. Either u're gonna get a GC interview at your local office-- then no need for EAD/AP

 or ur EAD/Ap gets approved first by NBC

I raised a SR last week and they told me it is taking long and they may reuse previous bio information and the fee wont be refunded.

 

Went for a Info pass, they said they dont have any control on CSC since I live in east coast and I need to wait. Very frustrating. Never thought Bio metrics was going to be hassle. Very frustrating!!!

I sure will tell you how it goes. that’s true it’s very frustrating!

When I called to USCIS they told me the same they can reuse my previous biometric which I don’t understand i mean will they use my biometric they took during the K1 interview?  Or which one?

Hey sorry my question wasn't clear.....I meant to ask how long it was going to take USCIS to get me my EAD or interview after biometrics.

Just saw my status update on the app to “interview scheduled” quick turn around!! Can’t seem to find a date anywhere, think I’ll have to wait for the hard copy next week.

Any previously assigned priority or processing date is no longer applicable. If you wish to still pursue the benefit, you must file a new application or petition and submit a new fee filing fee. If you need assistance, please call the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283. If you change your mailing address, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

 

 

I'm astonished I was worried because they never cashed my check, but the send me to the biometrics 2 weeks ago and now they tell me this...... Idk what went wrong with my check... So what now are they going to send my application back and I have to re-send it?

Yes, they will mail it back to you in its entirety and you will have to reattach a cheque along with the green form they sent you.

Now I'm gonna wait eagerly for my package to return so I can return it as soon as possible with the correct fee, and hoping to not loose too much time! The worst is that I had a family loss and that I was also waiting for an expedite advance parole and this is all rejected as well.

It's not rejected...its postponed by a few more days.

Well it says that I have to file a new application, wait again for NOA 1 and biometrics. So loosing the progress I made since early September 😕

Don’t worry.

i got same problem before.

you just include the check again and place the green paper on TOP.

it will be faster than those who have never filed before.

i sent back on 9th Oct and they received it on 11th Oct.

i got the text on 16th Oct and paper Noa1 on 19th Oct.

I think you're mistaken. There are a few in here who received the same message due to incorrect fee. They just resubmitted the fee with the same package. 

Guess you'll just have to wait and see but I'm almost positive you are mistaken in thinking you will have to make a new package.

Thank you all, I’m pretty bummed since this morning because of that. How long did it take for them to send your application back?
