It's just I once accidentally posted my info in here when copy pasting and it got stuck with google search for a long long time.

It’s the Chicago filing address for k1 to AOS (check the mail website again-just in case) you can’t unfortunately send it to just any center - they have directions.

good luck :)

Has anybody had difficulty in opening a bank account or a delay in getting a SSN?

I applied for a SSN the day after I arrived and was told it could take 4 weeks to verify my identity. Then when I called my local SSA office this week, they told me they have to submit additional documents to DHS so it will take a further two weeks. I was so disappointed. It's my understanding that you can't open a bank account without a SSN. Am I correct?

Yeah many people this year is getting mismatch and verification. I did too, however it was pretty quick. got mine in 3 weeks.

that depends on the bank. Adding to joint account easier and in most cases ssn not necessary. I got added to my husbands even before moving to US.

some banks letsyou open a bank account without ssn but you need to show address (utility bills etc.) so it may be harder than getting add to a joint account.

So just copy over whatever required.  you do wonder why we have to send everything again when really all the USCIS need to see is the marriage certificate , but that's the civil service the world over it just loves paperwork I guess. I don't miss drama at all, I am getting to old for drama, I want a nice quite life  that's why you won't catch me watching 90 day fiancé ….. I have a strong urge to kick the tv screen in!

It seems that we have 4 envelopes coming in todays mail from the USCIS...… they look the same as the ones people have scanned on the VJ pages....  it's going to be a long wait till 4 or 5 pm when the mail guy gets here...…..

Update:  We got 3 x NOA1's covering all 3 parts of the AOS and a biometrics appointment on Oct 10 at 11am about 20 minutes away downtown in Milwaukee. Another step along the way!
