Hey guys

Relatively new to the forum! I’m at my wits end with this paperwork!

My story:

In Minnesota

Filed I-485, I-131, I-785 on September 12

Received on September 14

Biometrics completed on October 8

All cases are MSC - National Benefits Center

And I’ve heard nothing since 🙄

Stupidly booked to go on holiday with my husbands family next month for a destination wedding, doesn’t look so hopeful now.

Hmph!

Hello!

We are still waiting on the combo card, via post. Is this out of the normal time frame to receive the card? I've been reading some of the posts and it seems that other have gotten their card within 5-10 business days.

EAD/AP Timeline

Online Case Update: Feb. 14,

NOA2: Feb. 19th via the update

Should I call or make an online inquiry?

On the update that says “Card has been mailed to me”, there is a line that says if you do not receive the card by a certain date, you can request for a new card to be mailed to you. My card was approved on 2/18, card in production on 2/20, mailed to me on 2/21 and received on 2/23. The update on mine said that if I don’t receive card by March 8, I should click on the link provided. Yours should have that too.

We never received any other update online besides that our "case approved" from Feb. 14. We received a paper confirmation of approval on Feb. 19th. So we are still waiting for the other updates as well.

Oh, so in that case you are well within your window to call and inquire. The upside is you know your case has been approved. It’s just frustrating that you don’t have any other update and have the card in your hands yet.  Best of luck to you! I hope it starts moving soon. Keep us posted!

I just went online to make a case inquiry about a missing or non delivered card. Then I saw this note.

NOTE: Do not submit a request if you have just recently been approved, allow approximately 120 days to receive your new card. You can check the status of your case using the My Case Status Tool. If Case Status Online indicates that the card was mailed, you should be provided with a United States Postal Service tracking number.

120 days?! I hope to doesn't take that long!

Honestly, I am in that boat as well. We have been approved but no update on card production or process. Some people says 10-14 days, some posts on this thread are less, around 5-7 days. I have been waiting almost 3 weeks since our approval and according to the case inquiry page, I have to wait 120 days before we submit a case inquiry

Status hasn't change on either the old website or the new website. Old website says "case approved," from Feb. 14th. New website says "case received" from Sept. 7th.

Then you will just have to wait until it does and provides you with your tracking number. Should not be long though and if it ends up being a few weeks, you can call.

Hmph!

What date does your NOA1 have? If it's 9/14 you can request an inquiry on your EAD/AP since you're outside normal processing times.

Hopefully you'll get your card before your vacation, but if not try to see if you can postpone or cancel and refund the location.
