I upgraded to the 2 day priority ...I was going to do the overnight but I was worried about the envelope too. The priority two day doesnt alter the envelope size too much and it's a clear window so you can still show the uscis envelope with red writing attn RFE. It also came with tracking.

Yes, Sep 14 here.  They don't necessarily process in order it seems, but still frustrating to see late Oct/Nov people getting approved.  Can't submit an official inquiry for another month or so

My NOA1 was 9/6 and I still have not received an approval.  I called USCIS yesterday and after 30 minutes of waiting spoke to Tabitha who said they are currently processing July 2018.  I expressed my concerns as so many have received an approval already and she stated there are many factors as to why some receive an approval early and some not.  So we play the waiting game...

I called USCIS, and was notified that there is an RFE dated 2/15. I have not received anything in the mail yet, and the online statuses have not been updated (both old and new website) and only show that the case was received on 9/28 (old) and 10/03 (new). I can only wonder what it must be, as I (thought) I sent a petition with all requested evidences and checked against the checklist they provide. This is my 2nd I-129F petition, as previous fiance broke up with me (after petition approval, but did not proceed further with it), so I did request the IMBRA waiver. The wait for the physical letter begins. 😣

Start feel upset ~~~~why our case still stuck there~~~

should i do anyting like call uscis or something else?

You may want to call USCIS and see if theres an update but if there isn't you have to just keep checking until there is. Normal processing can take up 7.5 months max.

The approval posts have definitely slowed down the past couple weeks.  I know myself and a few others are still waiting though

Most of you are within "Normal" processing times. I did I arrive at that statement. You go to the USCIS processing timeline website located here: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/home and you select your "Form" from the drop down menu so look for I-129f and then select the "service center" which would be California and then select "get processing times" then it will give you the result. Until your case receipt date is equal to or before the date from the search you are still considered within normal processing time. You can say what you want but this is the trend and calling, stomping your feet or crying is not going to move the needle on your case. This has been my experience for 5 years. This is how the systems works. It's not going to be change to coincide with what you want so sit back and let it run it's course.

This is the current scan as of today.

2019-02-28_9-47-22.jpg

Use the tools here in VJ to answer "when I am going to get etc. etc." question. Near your picture there is a link for your timeline. Select it and once you're on the next page near your picture  you will see "follow similar timelines" and it will populate 12 other couples who are near your dates. Scroll down and you will see a "spreadsheet" style page showing all the variables for measurement for when others are getting the same notice of approval or action.  Try it. It really works!

I followed those that were in my group to give me an idea where they were in processing so I could judge if I was ahead or behind.  It's pretty accurate, maybe within a day or so.

If you choose to follow those twelve members then you will get an email every time their status updates.
