Idk It could be coincidence but 2 hours ago news reports came out that H-1B visas have been re-instated for premium processing (pretty much they pay extra to get a response in 15 calendar days) and if I'm not mistaken, the CSC takes those too so... 😕

Do you think one person processes various types of requests? 

i am assuming it is broken down by department and visa/immigration type...

Ok...yes i know your screenshot is today. But read the site . It says information is displayed from 2 months before ..its not real processing time

lol that would be silly of me to think. But H-1B are distributed to 3 service centers based on location of the employer (California, Vermont, and Texas, I believe). Them having to fulfill these requests would undoubtedly have to push others back. And from my understanding on an interview they had on Visa Journey with a former adjudicator a few years back, they get to switch around on cases (work on employer ones for awhile, then on K1, etc).

It's always two months back, yes. But according to them, this is our timeline now and anything less than that is still normal processing time for them, even if it's collected from data 2 months back.

Ok...i understand that...but people dont need to lose hope is what im saying...gosh. we are in september not june or july and i hope things continue to flow...and i know they will

Nobody is saying anything about losing hope. But having a realistic goal on when to hear from them is better than expecting it too early  and then have a lot of people disappointed (when USCIS literally pushed back the estimated timeline). If we hear something sooner, then great! All the merrier, but let's not stick our heads in the sand that we are gonna get something this week or the next "just" in case this timeline dampens those goals.
