Sept 4 NOA1 here.   Just finished up collecting all the information for the i-134, so that's going out Priority Mail to my fiancee in the next few days.   Actually, got most all of Packet 3 completed, with the exception of the "original" document requirements like the DS-160, DS-2001, photos, etc.......all simple and quick items.

Yep, won't be long now.  Stay away you RFEs.

You're lucky you can mail it! Lebanese post is terrible. If I mail it now, he will get it by the time December filers are getting approved lol I have most of it ready (except my most recent tax return and photos) but I'll have to go drop it off myself.

You should look into using a service like DHL, FedEd or others that are reliable. The only document that needs to be mailed (possibly) is the I-134 because of the need for a "wet" signature. Call your embassy and see if the "wet" (original) signature is required. If not then no need to mail anything to the beneficiary as everything can be sent via email and printed.

I would love to know what their answer is if you do indeed call. Thanks.

Yeah, we don't have a printer at my place in Bangkok, and I don't want some shop in Bangkok printing off my confidential info, so I'll send all available Packet 3 documents with the I-134.  I previously sent the relationship evidence documents thru USPS Global Express.....6 days guaranteed delivery, for about $65.   They delivered one day late so I went to the post office and got the $65 refund.  No problem.

Hate sending the SSN thru any mail.   I'm leaving that blank on the form, and she will fill that in.  None of my financial correspondence includes SSN, and the IRS transcript includes only the last four.   Interestingly, that IRS transcript doesn't even include your full name and address for security reasons !!!    Nice.

Your photos?    I interpreted the Packet 3 requirement as beneficiary photos as I'm not an "applicant" for the visa.

I sent him a phone awhile back for his birthday. Literally 1 phone inside a cloth purse (for protection). The whole thing cost me like $75 to send and it took 4 months to arrive. 3 months in limbo and 1 whole month waiting in customs. Then on Christmas we sent Christmas cards from Turkey. Dec 7th we sent them; one to my house here and one to his parents in Lebanon. Mine arrived last week and his is still a no-show. lol Needless to say, I'm petrified of sending it via mail but if i can get some guarantee from DHL etc that would be amazing because then I can travel there to pick him up after he gets his visa (hopefully).

GOT IT !!    Right.   Funny, I've seen so many different opinions on the pictures evidence, so I landed on a number of 36.   3 on each of 12 pages.   Our entire evidence book is exactly 100 pages in a well organized folder.   I heard that interviews in Bangkok consist of a few questions and they may not even look at this book, we wanted to be prepared for anything they may throw at us.

GOT IT !!

Agreed! Better to be safe than sorry. I have a 3 inch binder full of evidence, all classified in sections (Petitioner Documents, Beneficiary Documents, Trips, Chat Logs, and Wedding Plans). I ordered a pack of 20 clear photo holder pages with 3 pockets for 4x6 pictures and will be using 5 pages front and back for each trip. That will be exactly 30 pics per trip and there will be at least 2 trips, possibly 3 if I have to take the binder myself. It sounds excessive but we have a 5 year difference (I'm older) and we only dated 6 months before my first visit so I want to make sure I have ample proof of bonafide relationship, just in case they see red.
