I assume it can take a few days but for what I have read as soon as your case says ready you can print the page and bring it with you for the medical exam. I read that at Servicios Medicos Consulates they accept the print out. I’m not quite sure about Consultorio de visa.

Hello, go to Servicios Medicos much faster and easier Consultorio de Visa gives a very hard time, and I believe they don’t know what they are doing because they ask for the wrong paperwork... my fiancé went with the print out of the page just saying “at NVC”. We took the chance in hope everything turns out fine (which it has). But it is very nerve wracking...

Normally or should I say a lot of people have moved from in Transit to ready in 2 days. Now, not sure when letter shows up but I'm going to guess with a week. It may even just be a email. Which u will need to print and take copies to medical and interview.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

Got an email yeaturday morning from NVC saying they have my petition and that in 8 weeks it should be in the embassy.

No NVC case number. Nothing else.

Should I just call NVC today or tomorrow to find out if they have assigned me a case number???

Any thoughts.

I just received this email from the NVC.

Dear Sir/Madam:

We recently received your visa petition. We will send NVC processing instructions within 8 weeks. Please resubmit your inquiry if you have not received any information after 8 weeks.

Does this mean a number has been generated for me or no?

Thanks you all for your help and answers.

letter isn’t needed in the Dominican Republic for medical with a print out of the visa case status stating that it’s ready would be accepted for medical exam.
