Petitioner gets mailed everything up to the case number. Then the beneficiary starts to receive mail from their Embassy and the Pet gets nothing.

I know the Ukrainian embassy does its communication, such as P3, through e-mail and CCs the petitioner.

As an aside, Ukraine is actually probably one of the quickest countries to go through. They receive cases electronically within 2 days from the NVC, e-mail out p3 that day and then there's only a 2 day wait period necessary between medical and interview. The only pain in the tookus is having to pay the DS160 application processing fee in cash at one specific bank.

@ALGS you do you. Don’t let anyone tell you how you should or shouldn’t be feeling. This is an extremely stressful process and everyone deals with it differently, a freak out is a daily occurance for me 😂. Forums are meant for asking questions, sharing experiences and supporting each other 💕

I am from the U.K. too - I’m waiting for my NOA2 but hoping to hear in the next 30 days 🙏🏽. Good luck in your journey 💕

Thanks @Nicola and Jordan ! Who doesn't love a regular freak out hey?! haha. It's what keeps me on my toes.

I am sure you will hear good news very soon 💕:) keep looking forward and soon you will be there!

NOA 1: 26 Dec 2017

RFE 22 August 2018

NOA 2: 08 September 2018

Medical: 16 October 2018

Interview: 22 October 2018

Visa in Hand: 2 November 2018

POE: 10 November 2018 - Baltimore

Wedding:   :

Distance is no demon,

Often I think it can be a blessing for those in love,

a silent, underappreciated blessing.

It will have no power over us.

When you come stumbling to my door after months, with flowers and wine in hand,

I will be ready.

When I pick you up from the airport, the feeling will be unmatched,

that feeling like birds bursting in song from beneath my lungs,

that feeling unlike any other.

We have to stay strong and remember what is most important;

I love you, and you, me.

The air between us is nothing but a metaphor.

Nothing, not one thing, can come between us.

Hello everyone & congrats on getting this far!

I was approved on Sept 4th. My question is should I go ahead and get everything for the affidavit of support together and mail it to my fiancee?

Or should I wait until a little closer to the time of the interview? I'm wondering if I should get the letter from my employer today or if it is too early?

Thank you

Yes, it is a pain to have to go to the bank to pay but if you got o Ukraine and pay the bank fee the first day you get there (for the same day you have medical scheduled), then schedule the intervew the following morning at 10am when your receipt has been entered into their system. I have paid the visa fee and  I can see the calendar to schedule an appointment and there are 7 appointments available for Tomorrow (Thursday).

I'm confused. There is no DS-160 fee. There is a interview fee that you much pay before you can interview and right around that time you complete the DS-160 so it could be where I am confused.

Forums are also to give realistic expectations, lend experience, show the poster there maybe different ways of doing something then what they are doing may work better or have an outcome that is more satisfying. I shared my experience and you, the OP and others who have chimed in, didn't like the answer. I would think that having a latte and trusting the process is better then pounding your head on a wall and STILL WAITING. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in our emotions we miss the help that are in the words before you. There are other places to go to get the answer here on VJ. Lots of tools to use but we sometimes get stuck in one thread and ignore the other ways to find the answer then be on a phone and not getting an answer you want.  But, you can make this process whatever you want. I'm sorry you get your feelings hurt from the emotional express you are on. But I'm showing that there are other ways, less stressful then what you are doing to get the same results. I'm going back to my Latte and see if I can help others who appreciate their "feelings" attended to. Actually from the various threads you post on you make people feel like c**p for no reason whatsoever, for example telling someone they are dead to you. Yes your links are useful but maybe take into consideration how others feel, might go a long way. Enjoy your day

There are ways and ways. 😄 Cultural differences, different ways of coping with a stressful process. Your attitude will determine your altitude.

While I have my Latte I am pondering over.....

USTraveldocs.com and various embassy websites all refer to it as the "visa application fee" or MRV fee, and the visa application is the DS-160. So, DS-160 and visa application may be used interchangeably to come up with either DS-160 fee, visa application fee, or MRV fee. 😄

I wish I got my NOA2 hardcopy. I think the postman lost it. It popped up on USPS Informed Delivery yesterday, but all I had was a bunch of junk mail. I even sorted through all the coupons to see if it got stuck in the middle. 😢
