Hello All September NVC Friends,

I just called the NVC to check on the status of our application (case number issued 27 September 2018) and he informed me that 2-3 batches of K-1 VISA applications go out each month.  He was told the second batch for this this month is scheduled to go out "in a few days,"  and given my date, it is "highly likely" to go out with this batch.  It might be just false hope from an operator, but I'll cling on to it and I share it with you all.

Cheers,

Jesuiscalm

Just called the NVC and they received our case!

NOA2 received date: 09/23

NVC received: 10/11

I tried the e-mail thing but they never got back to me 😕

They don't confirm that they got your request, you just have to hope they did and confirmation is going to be coming on the next email.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

So yesterday I called to NVC and received my new case number. I’m beneficiary and they were ok with that.

NOA2: Sep 18th

NVC: Oct 4th

By the way, the operator asked me if I want to add my email to the case even though I updated it through ask nvc form and even received response to it. But still they never added my email to the case which is weird. Just a heads up for those who are waiting for email update

Congrats! Things should start picking up now.

I'm going to call on my lunch break. Hopefully there isn't a long waiting time. I also received my NOA2 on the 26th too, so maybe I  might have mine assigned as well.
