noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

So, have you got a NOA2 yet, or not? Your timeline is not complete so I can't tell. If you have received your NOA2, then you can call the NVC (603-334-0700 M-F 5AM-10PM Eastern) about 10 business days after the notice date on your NOA2 to request your new case number. Also, some people get e-mails and some people don't. I wouldn't rely on that advice. When I got NOA2, I had texts, e-mails and both new and old USCIS websites were updated. That wasn't the case for most people. I never got any e-mails from the NVC even though others following the same procedure did. All these things are really hit and miss, but we do know two modes of information delivery are fairly reliable: Getting your NOA2 in the mailbox and getting your NVC number by calling them.

Hello,

I have another Question about the I-134:

- part 3 question 38. Do we tick the box intend or do not intend or we leave unticked?

I read somewhere to leave it unticked and write N/A (K1 visa process for permanent residence). Is that correct?

Thank you

Yes, what you wrote is what I advocate to do. You read right.

Hey guys I had a question about the affadavit of support. I have a family member that is willing to fill out the form for my fiance. I haven't worked this year, because I've been with her at her country. My question is, will my family member's (uncle) affadavit of support be enough? Or is there something else that is also required on my part?

The best tool to use is the search tool found at the top right side of this page. You'll be able to get great information. People here are in the same situation as you, they are learning what to do. Also, go to the sub-forum where there is a discussion all the time on this subject. Top of the page, blue ribbon and chose "forums". Look through the top two entries.

Hello,

Filling My DS-160, im not a citizen from Dominican Rep. about this question: Your National ID Number is a unique number that your government provides. The U.S. Government provides unique numbers to those who seek employment (Social Security Number) or pay taxes (Taxpayer ID).

Can I use the number of the country where I from or my Residency Number/work permit, etc. from Dominican Republic?

Use the identification number for the country you are interviewing in if you have an ID from that country.

You should be able to create the account as long as you have Case # from the NVC.  Once you fill in all the required information, pay the visa fee, then should be able to schedule your VAC and interview appointments.  Our case status was set to ready today but got the appointments done yesterday. Not sure how your country works but should be able to visit the portal section on VJ for the country of immigration.  You can go this website https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/. Hopefully that helps

Awesome, I thought I can only to do this when the case is Ready. Helps a lot, thanks so much! Now just have to wait till my fiance wakes up to make the payment lol..

You can leave it blank and there won't be a problem. It's not really used for the K-1 but for employment visas and such.

You were to register your email after receiving your NOA2 and it was to be addressed to NVC which would in turn keep you posted concerning the movement of your case. Now it's kind of like your trying to close the barn door to keep the horse from escaping but he is standing behind you on the outside. It's too late. Were you just looking for updates or the case number from the email?

Just updates mainly - we were always planning to ring after a couple of weeks for our case number, just thought maybe if I updated my email they would contact us when the case is on the move. Not particularly bothered about the movement as I am at work till late November anyway so have some time to kill - just dont think there’s any harm in doing it at the particular time I did 😊
