This what is needed but always check your P3 for other documents. I134 needs to be original with wet signature everything else can be copies emailed and printed in your country.

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form K1/K2 Interview Preparation Instructions – English (February 2014)  Page 3 of 9 with original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134.

Hi @Greenbaum I saw some posts that I134 can also be scanned and emailed to me? Which is which? Or it differs per embassy?

My fiancé in America rang up yesterday and recieved case number, booked medical this morning for November 14th due to work commitments inbetween. Case status says at NVC 👍🏻

Congrats! 🎉

we have the same NOA2 date that’s why (if you don’t mind me asking) could you please tell me:

- have you signed up / or sent inquiry to NVC for updates? If yes, have you received email with your new case #? Or you just called? When did you call them and how long have you been waiting before representative answered on your call?

Nice!! We have the same NOA2 date! Although I received an email from them that they haven't received our case.

Does anyone know if this also confirms that they have our email and they will update us once they have our case?

We have also received emails that they haven’t received our case on Oct 2nd. Our NOA2 date - Sept 20.

Do you think it makes sense to call them if we received such email? Or no? 🙄

Well let me explain it this way.

 Here is what USCIS says:

"A signature is valid even if the original signature is later photocopied, scanned, faxed, or similarly reproduced. Regardless of how it is transmitted to USCIS, the copy must be of an original document containing a handwritten, ink signature, unless regulations or the form instructions state otherwise. USCIS will not accept signatures created by a typewriter, word processor, stamp, auto-pen, or similar device."

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/USCIS/Outreach/Draft%20Memorandum%20for%20Comment/PED_SignatureRequirementPM.pdf

Now the Embassies are report directly to DOS (Department of State) and no one has been able to produce any documentation that they will except a scanned I-134. So having said that I have done some research on VJ and have yet been able to find anyone who can direct me to the document that would allow "dry signatures". So this is the argument that some say it's ok and others who say not.

IMHO until this gets sorted out I suggest to send only the I-134 with a wet signature and email the other documents for printing in the beneficiary's home country. Doing this keeps the weight down for the package and the costs.

You could go with all scanned documents and if that fails and they want an original then you will get a 221(g) (it's like a RFE but that is Embassy lingo) delaying your case until you can get the original to the Embassy.

Do you mean they have your case? I haven’t received an email yet although I have followed the links and sent my email again. We have only had confirmation over the phone.

Hey!

my fiancé in America rang up on Tuesday around 5pm and was on hold for around ten mins. They gave her the case number straight away and that was it.

I looked on on the website and it said at NVC and then I emailed them telling them my email. Not heard anything since but I only did that this morning so not been a long while.

Okay, I have no idea what the "Confirmation Page" is that the interview website keeps telling me I need to print out. I can find it NO WHERE in the ais.usvisa-info website. I have the DS-160 printed with the barcode. But where in Sam Hell is the confirmation page for the PTT or PPT whatever it is called. I chose the location but there is no "confirmation" and I paid for the interview and printed a receipt, not sure if it is "the receipt" that they are asking for. I'm confused.....

Sooooooo..... I really need some help guys. I did not expect my fiance to get an interview so dang quick. But it is what it is. I must get this stuff together ASAP.

The I-134 support has me like whaaaaaaat? This is  per USCIS web (My questions are underlined!)

Did you submit the following?

  • A signed statement from an officer of the bank or other financial institution that states when you opened an account, the total amount deposited for the past year, and the present balance of such account
    • My brother is co-sponsor. He really doesn't keep any money in his bank. In fact he has none in there now lol. But he is well over the poverty mark and has been employed steady for 6 years. He has no dependents and not married. Will this be a problem? He is not in debt either, but they might think so because he doesn't have a full savings.
  • A signed statement from your employer on business letterhead that states the date and nature of your employment, salary paid, and whether the position is temporary or permanent
    • 1) He got the letter but I don't think it is a wet signature. Should it be?
    • 2) The letter does not say "this is a permanent job"..... I mean, it is as permanent as any job in the U.S. But anyone can get fired at any time. I don't think his employer would put that for legal reasons. Neither would mine. Does it HAVE to say "this is a permanent job"?
  • A copy of your last income federal tax return filed, or a report of commercial rating concern (if self-employed)
    • Only one year of income taxes? I thought we needed 3. What about pay stubs and W-2s??? I heard we had to have ALL of that!
  • A list containing the serial numbers and denominations of bonds and names of the owners (if applicable)

I'm feeling queasy about these things now. Could you help me please,

@Greenbaum

At least you can get an interview. Can't even schedule the VAC appointment. Keeps giving me the error that the appointment is not available then started to reach maximum number of tries.  Really frustrating

Oh gosh... I'm sorry :(

This process is not easy. Yes, we got an interview, but it is nearly one month before we were wanting it. There are NO appointments showing available for November or December. It is like they haven't opened them. Really, we are beyond stressed right now. Pretty much freaking out all over the place.
