Hi All,

We received our approval (NOA2) today (09/21), so I’m joining this thread (finally 🙏🏻).

I do really hope the NVC stage will go faster than USCIS stage! 🤗

Hey everyone,

Someone earlier in the thread shared the link to the CEAC status tracker, currently if I enter my details (WAC number) it says “our search did not return any results”.

My question is - is this the same information that I am calling the NVC number to establish and is that all they can see anyway (like the USCIS tier 1s can essentially just see what we can see via online queries)?

Thanks!

NOA 1: 26 Dec 2017

RFE 22 August 2018

NOA 2: 08 September 2018

Medical: 16 October 2018

POE: 10 November 2018 - Baltimore

Wedding:   :

Distance is no demon,

Often I think it can be a blessing for those in love,

a silent, underappreciated blessing.

It will have no power over us.

When you come stumbling to my door after months, with flowers and wine in hand,

I will be ready.

When I pick you up from the airport, the feeling will be unmatched,

that feeling like birds bursting in song from beneath my lungs,

that feeling unlike any other.

We have to stay strong and remember what is most important;

I love you, and you, me.

The air between us is nothing but a metaphor.

Nothing, not one thing, can come between us.

You won’t see anything on CEAC until you have your case number from NVC

When you call the NVC they will ask for your reciept number (WAC#). They will tell you if you have been assigned a case number (it will start with "LND" for the London Embassy), and that is the number that can be inputed into the CEAC status tracker.

Yes, you'd need your NVC case number (which is different from the WAC number) to use the CEAC tracker.

Thank you 😊 for making this easier

I have advacated in the past about registering your email with NVC once you have received your NOA2. NVC will update you record and begin sending you email updates to your case. You'll get an email when your case is received from USCIS and then you will get a email when your case number is assigned and you will get another email once your case has left NVC for the Embassy. These emails are very timely and keep you off the phone. @SilverMonk followed these instructions and they were amazed. See there post in the August NVC group.

After getting notified and receiving your NOA2 send an email to NVC asking for them to email both you and your fiancé if any updates occur. In the past they have replied when your case was received from USCIS, another when your case number has been assigned and when your case is being sent out to your Embassy without you having to make any further queries by phone. Here is where you send this information to:

Email address: NVCINQUIRY@state.gov

Subject: Your receipt #

Body: Petitioner's Complete Name Birthday ; Beneficiary's Complete Name Birthday

Or use the online form

After NOA2 I did this to the "T" and they wrote me saying..... we don't have your file yet so they cannot update anything.... someone else also did it on this thread and we received the same email. It seems you cannot update after NOA2 until NVC receives it.

Called today nvc has received my case, 2 weeks to receive.  They said i can not sign up for emails until my case number is assigned.

they said up to 6 weeks to receive and up to 8 weeks for a case number.  I think the average is 1-4 weeks total from what i have read.
