I just wanted to give you heads up that my Beneficiary is from India and it took her a long time to get the birth certificate. I would hate to you have wait for the birth certificate to schedule the interview.

Hi @kohldjs  I am also from India (beneficiary)

What do you mean she took time to get her birth certificate? Can you please clarify?

Even in India birth certificate is given at time of birth

Hey A_R congratulations. But your font size is too small for me to read. Can you just make it a little larger please.

@Greenbaum   Thanks first of all.

And

I am laughing very hard.

Hey guys, just wanted to update I received my NO2 on August 31 and NVC sent me an email with the following yesterday:

We recently received your visa petition. We will send NVC processing instructions within 8 weeks. Please resubmit your inquiry if you have not received any information after 8 weeks.

its just funny to me because this whole process is just deadlines. 5-7 months to process the application, then 45 days to hear back about your inquiry if you’re outside of processing times, then 6 weeks to transfer your case from USCIS to NVC, now 8 weeks to send out a simple email with processing instructions!!!! Really?!? If I waited 8 weeks to work on one task at my job I’d be fired. I just hope I’m not old and gray by the time this is over 😂

Yeah, we were really surprised. We waited until yesterday to call and right when I ask my fiancee to she said "no need, just got an email from them" lol

But yeah, now just have to wait a little bit more.

But thanks for the help 😀

Hello VJ's,

I had my NOA2 approved from NVC on August 30th 2018. I got a text message/ email confirmation stating that my CASE has been received by NVC on September 6th.  I called NVC on September 14th and was being told that they've processed my case on September 10th.

I called NVC again this morning and I was told a complete different story. As per the agent whom I talked to, I was told that my case was received YESTERDAY ( 09/20) and I have to wait 6-8 weeks from 09/20 date. I'm wondering why'd someone give me 2 different answer knowing that everything is fairly stated in their database. Is this Normal?

I do not know the whole story but she did not get a birth certificate when she was born for whatever reason. It just took her a long time to get one since one was not created for her at the time.

Hi All,

We received our approval (NOA2) today (09/21), so I’m joining this thread (finally 🙏🏻).

I do really hope the NVC stage will go faster than USCIS stage! 🤗

Congratulations on making it to the NVC thread.  The wait begins again😁😁
