September 2018 NOA2 ----> NVC

Just go my consulate letter today.  It's dated Oct 23rd. It's states my fiancés visa is ready for processing along with instructions to fill out the DS-160 and website to schedule appointment and ASC.  My Fiancé is in Baja.  Can we get the medical and biometrics done in Tijuana?

Congrats!! I wouldn't worry about that, it said "ready" for us too. Just wait for the notification for when you can pick up the passport. Surprisingly ours was ready within 2 days, for some it could take a little over a week.

Would say everyone that's "in transit" now should be at there embassy within 2 to 10 days.

Yeah, this is a possibility. Our case was in transit on Oct 3rd and ready by the 9th. In between, we were able to submit the DS-160 form, make the visa fee payment and schedule the medical and interview! This may vary from embassy to embassy but see what you can get done in the time being. Good luck!!
