One of the people I know told me that they got the original petition send back to them.

She forgot who they sent it to because it was several months ago.

Does anyone know about that?

Hi, my fiancé and I received email (email was to petitioner, I was in CC) from the Embassy with Packet 4. The original Petition (scanned copy) was attached to the email.

His birth certificate has "Raaj Sewani" which is also on this passport. But won't they question like why doesn't it match with your passport and your PCC? Sorry, I'm just a little worried.

I guess I'd have to myself in the CO's shoes ask myself why are the names different. I'm not sure if this true for his country but a lot of countries have a reputation of not good "bookkeeping" systems by way of creating and maintaining birth records. The CO's understand this. You can't go wrong if you use what is on his BC. If it were me I would use thee BC for the basis of my entries for any documents that I need to complete and just move on. This is not going to get you a denial so relax and try and not overthink this. Be logical in your thinking.

IN REGARDS TO WHICH DATE TO USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

noa1 date is actually they date on ur hard copy. Sadly if u reach the magical 220 day u must wait till 225 to contact Uscis. They use what the new site says. Even if ur paper says X date.

They added 5 days onto everyone’s accepted on NOA1

I know I answered this in a PM from you but I am gong to post it for others so they might understand when NO available interview slots are showing.

The Embassy's only open their calendar after the month that is currently open is filled. The next month won't open till they feel it's necessary. What you saw was a cancellation. I'd advise that you every few hours you check to see if there are any cancellations. Argentina and Nigeria calendars are FULL now and so lots of people having problems.

Ohh so that is the reason why I am not seeing anything for November and December....I book my medical for the 9 of November so hoping the calendar will open by then

Yes, that makes sense, thank you for your response :) Also, the name matches it's just the middle name that is the problem and I guess a lot of people don't even use their middle names in a lot of places.

Thank you again and I will update here after the interview!

My fiance gave his interview today at 10am (it was 3am my time so I didn't get any sleep lol) and he was approved!!!!! His appointment came last, so it was about a 2 hour wait. His interview lasted only 10 minutes. The lady officer was very nice, she asked lots of questions but they were easy and he said everything went smoothly. MAKE SURE you reference the checklist given here on the portal for your specific embassy and ask others who have gone through the process. There were some documents that the embassy required which were not listed in the packet we were emailed! For our case, it was a copy of the passport and the email confirmation of the interview which looks like this:

Dear Sir:

We received your approved fiancé visa case Please find attached the required documents.

This was not mentioned anywhere on the embassy website either.

All the best, hope all of you get your visas approved soon! :joy:

I think you'll make it but don't buy tickets till you get the passport and you looked everything over errors.
