All set then. Make sure u write down the account number form ur ds160 as u will need it when u fill out form for visa

When filling out ds160 it will ask u some where on the form to put in nvc number. The continue filling form out. 

When u schedule interview "if that's how ur country does it" u will need the application number from ur ds160 and put the number along with nvc number on the form.

One more item, print off the confirmation page once you submit the DS-160 which will contain the needed information for the interview. Be sure to make copies and use where needed. Each Embassy is different so follow the P3 letter.

The fiancé(e) K-1 nonimmigrant visa is for the foreign-citizen fiancé(e) of a U.S. citizen. 1.  Once your file is received at post, an instruction package will be sent to you by email.

3. Assemble the required documents that are listed on the instruction package.
4. Schedule a medical examination with the Embassy-approved physician in Algiers at least 15 days before your visa interview

The key word is FILED. Not approved or completed. So has anyone ever FILED for you besides your current petitioner (in this case,  you = beneficiary). If so YES, if not NO. Most answer it NO as they have never had a case FILED for them prior to their current petitioner.

 

3) I __ intend ___ do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person's named in Part 2 (Page 4 question 38)

   What should I select here ? And if I select "I intend" should I explain in the additional information that I intend to make any and all contributions needed for as long as         needed? 

 

In the new revised I-134 form dated 2018 - Question #38 now regards contributions.  You leave the yes/no boxes "unchecked" and your explanation is submitted in Part 7 on page 8 of the new form.  

 

You will do this:

3.a. "Page 4"

3.b. "Part Number 3"

3.c. "Item Number 38"

3.d. "N/A (K1 Visa Process For Permanent Residence)"

I red in another pages that your fiance book the medical check up on 16 Nov.

Since you need to waiting the medical check up result to be send to US embassy for the interview (5-10 days) so actually you have to do the med check 1st before request the interview date to  US Embassy Jakarta

On DS-160 they dont ask for the NVC number if I remember correctly. It's the WAC number that I had to write on DS-160 but Im not sure if it makes any difference.

Your case might be with NVC until 10/30, usually cases go out every other week and Oct 30th is when they'll send the next round to your embassy.

Quick question! Our interview was passed Thursday the 18th, updated to administrative processing the next day. How long should I wait before contracting the embassy to check? Not sure whats the normal time frame
