case status online - didn't update

Hi everyone,

My company's lawyer just sent in my rfe as the deadline is fast approaching. However, the "case status online" has not recognized receipt of the extra evidence. It still says that they mailed me the request.

Can it be that it just takes them a while to update the system? Or should I be concerned? Has this happened to anyone here?

Thanks,

Thanks! There's no "we received your rfe" notice? Hopefully they received it then

As long as you shipped it via a trackable carrier, you should have proof it was delivered. Just keep a copy of the proof of delivery if the date was close, just in case they question it. But it will probably be a few weeks before case updates I would think.

I figure sometime the online case status doesn't change on time, my case was approved on Aug 13th, but the status was still case was received.

try this, create an account in the USCIS official website, and type in your case number, normally that will give you much more details.
