Hi, we are at the end of the process and i would like to write down my experience how did it go in Hungary so if someone looks for it its gonna be way easier then it was for me.

First of all Visa journey has a great deal of information - i am just going to write down the differences that i experienced compared to those.

We are right now at the end of the process. Waiting for the interview.

Our case was pretty fast. Sent the package in the end of January and 188 days later we got our NOA 2. If you do your i-129f according to the guide on this site it will be fine.

After the USCIS - our case went pretty fast again. Under 10 days it got to the NVC and from there under a week it got to the Hungarian embassy.

So far it was just as described by the site.

And the differences:

After you have the NOA 2 or even earlier i recommend to get the vaccinations. In Hungary it takes time and the shots are valid for 10 years so i recommend to get those as soon as possible.

Call one of the 3 doctors who are listed on the embassy site and ask them about the shots. They told me to get 2 injections. After that you gonna go to your local doctor who is gonna tell you that you already get these when you were 10 years old so no need. But they are wrong You need those for the VISA again!

After you got your shots and you have the NVC case number (the doc does not ask for the NVC number tho) then you can schedule your medical. (no they are not doing any awkward checks on your body) Also you have to pay 31000 HUF

After that its the same as the site describes it again.

Just register on the DS-160 and then on the embassy website (as immigrant - everywhere else you should have used non immigrant).

When you get the police records (erkolcsi bizonyitvany) make sure you get the one for "USA VISA" - not the normal one.

This is where we are in the process right now.  Actually i just got the packer 3 today.

Waiting for my fiancee to send me the financial papers and the i-134 form.

After this only the interview what i need to do. Calling the embassy is really easy and the people were really nice on the phone.

Hope others gonna have the same smooth experience and good luck!
