Just wondering,  My wife got her approval notice for EAD on 24th of Aug, so I assume her card it will be coming soon in the mail!

I had been browsing a bunch of time lines, and I see that quite a few had an interview for AOS to get the 2yr GC, and some were scheduled quickly after the biometrics.  I thought I read somewhere that for the first temp GC, a certain percentage does not get an interview.  Since her bio apt was late April and no update at the end of August, I was wondering if they are not going to do her an interview until ROC?

Pretty much all AoS cases get interviews. The only category that SOMETIMES does not get interviews is K1. But they are doing more and more AoS interviews for K1 as well. Employment based AoS used to not have any interviews. They are doing interviews for that category as well now. Not sure where you heard some AoS cases don't get interviews but that is completely incorrect.

Edit: Just checked your profile and saw you are K1. I would say to prepare for an interview. K1 interviews are increasing.

Ours is K1 based.  Thanks for the input!

Yeah I edited my first post cause I saw you are K1. Best to prepare for an interview. Aos interviews for K1 are increasing. I wouldn't be too surprised if at some point, they make them mandatory.
