NVC to SYD questions

Hi all,

 

NOA2 date of 14th Aug, currently waiting for the NVC number. I have all my documents ready for the interview, just need to apply for the DS-160 and pay for that as well as the interview etc.

 

I have started the DS-160 form, can I finish that now and pay for it? Or do I have to wait for the NVC number ? Once I have that number, I can book the interview and pay for that. Then book my medical. Does that sound right?

 

just trying to get ahead of the pack so to speak. Thanks for the help!
