864 in my household or not

I am the petitioner for my two children. I live in my adult son's house. I do not have an income. I believe I need to fill out my own 864 and say zero income? My adult son fills out a 864A or 864? and his wife also fills out 864A? Is my son then the first of joint sponsor and daughter in law is the second of joint sponsor? Also for my 864 my household size will or not include my adult son and his wife? I don't support them I live in their household. Since we at same residence are they technically "in my household". I don't know just confused. Thanks for the help!

since each petition is separate, you will need to fill out an i864 for each child with $0 income

 

your son and daughter in law are not part of your household

 

since you aren't combining income with your son, he can file an i864 and his wife the i864A, one for each child.

Thank you! When my son fills out his 864 does he say he is the first of the joint sponsor and then his wife is the second of joint sponsor?

no, he is the only joint sponsor and his wife  will be the household member and fill out the i864A
