Hi,

I hope someone here can shed some light on our situation. My fiance received the court decision of his annulment September 2017. It was filed March this year and brought afterwards to the LCR where they got married. We were informed that the documents were forwarded by the LCR to PSA end of June. The anotated MC & cenomar was supposed to be released last week. However, we were advised that it was declined by PSA due to the documents forwarded to them by LCR in Pampanga were not certified. I am not sure if this is a new policy or not.

Question is, what do they mean that the documents were not certified?

How do we know that the docs are certified before LCR forwards them again to PSA?

Thanks in advance!

I am not totally familiar with the annulment process.  Do you have the Certificate of Finality?

Once the DECISION or DECREE is not CONTESTED by the Prosecutor's office, a CERTIFICATE OF FINALITY is then issued by the court which issued the DECISION or DECREE""

Hi,

Yes, the Certificate of Registration, Authenticity, and Finality & Decision were all submitted to the LCR. So we are not sure why the PSA advised that the documents forwarded to them were not certified.

You should go back to the local registry and ask what is going on with this.   That would be where I would start asking questions.

Yes, that is what we are planning to do. Would you know if it is possible to personally hand carry the correct documents back to PSA instead? We were told that LCR needs to courier it to PSA.

I know of some that hand carried documents to PSA, but it required a little "grease" ;)

How did it go Kris? I have the same problem now. They needed me to get a CTC of my documents.

Hello Jen_2013,

We had everything sorted now. The reason it was declined by PSA the first time was because it lacks the signature of the person in charge from the LCR and also some pages of the court decision were blurred & unreadable.

What we did was have it clear copied and brought it back to the LCR to have it stamped & signed by the person in charged and then hand carried it to PSA. They released the anotated marriage certificate 2 weeks after we re-submitted it.

So basically, just make sure that your documents has the Certified True Copy stamp & signature of the LCR staff.
