apt. ste. flr. space can't be filled in

Almost ready to send in my K1 but one thing has been bothering me since the beginning.

In some places where it asks for an address, it allows me to X either apt. ste. flr. and fill in the following blank space, but it most places I can X one of the options but acrobat will not allow me to fill in the following blank space to fill in the apt #.

To counteract this I have been putting in the apartment # following the address such as 123 Main St. #2L. Now in my final steps I don't know if I should do this or check the appropriate box and fill in the apartment number by hand.

thanks

Either could be okay honestly. You're over thinking and stressing over something small.

If it makes you more comfortable, check the box then very very neatly hand write in the number in the space.

I agree, either would probably be alright. When we filled out our first form (the I-129), we ran into the same thing with another field and just wrote it by hand very neatly, even though the rest was typed. When we filled out the forms for my husband's AOS more recently, he found that he was running into that when using his Mac, but when I did it from a regular PC, I was able to fill out fields that he couldn't. Just in case you have means to try another device/computer, that may absolve the issue altogether. But overall - either one of the options you mentioned would suffice. :)

Håll ut, y'all.

Like above, same for us with our AOS paperwork, we weren't able to check some boxes so we just did it nicely by hand after we finished the rest of it. Also some document editors don't like my husband having two first names so it tries to merge it into one word(happens with the airlines everytime) so we even wrote that in by hand to make sure it was correct.

Some of the features in the form-fillable PDFs seem to only work right in Acrobat Reader if they do at all; they wouldn't work in Chrome or Edge or other PDF viewers for me. Still, if you can't get it to work, writing things by hand after you print it is fine.
