I have been hearing my friends from the Caribbean telling me at the sometime i am filling my n400 I can also submit for my mum who has never been to the USA before is that TRUE. If so what will be the steps or forms i will need to do for her since i can kill 2 birds with one stone. Thanks

You cannot kill these two birds with one stone.

You must be a US citizen to petition your mom. Evidence of your USC status (copy of Naturalization cert or US Passport) is required.

What do you mean file for your mother? As in - for her to receive a green card?

Then you cannot do anything until your N400 is done and you have your certificate of naturalization/US passport.

You can't file for your mother during the process.

If you mean that your mother needs a tourist visa - then she applies on her own and your situation is irrelevant.

K1

29.11.2013 - NoA1

AoS

03.2015 - AoS started.

09.2015 - Green Card received.

RoC

01.08.2018 - RoC approved.

It might also be tricky for the mom to get a tourist visa given the immigration of the OP (came in on a non-immigration visa and stayed).

Yes came on F1 and got married ended up having a child family etc. Found my self working on the government level as well as my spouse. But the need for me getting citizenship is fact that many opportunities at the Federal level requires it and its time.

I figured it was not an option again a friend of mine from Haiti was the one who mentioned it and was the first time i heard of any thing like that so i figured i asked if it was possible. Because i thought i had to obtain mine first and then i can aid her in getting her greencard
