green card, travel authorization and green card today

Ok, this is nuts. My wife got all three in one day.

I take it the work authorization is not needed? It expires in a year, her non-green green card expires in 2 years. Her advance parole, is it needed now?

I wonder if I wasted money, or if by filing for all, they came through quicker.

Either way, I was waiting for an interview, but none needed it seems.

Anyone understand this?

The green card covers both the AP and EAD.

I wouldn't consider it wasting your money...what if it hadn't come so soon? Filing for all three doesn't speed anything up, though. There are people who filed for all three who have been waiting for almost a year...or two.
