need help have not received RFE after mailed out

hi all i got notification on website and email that they mailed RFE on 14 august for i-130 spouse  but still have not received it yet today is 28, any advise do i have to call ? or can i request it by fax or email ? they sent first RFE never received so i had to inquiry and changed my address thats why they mailed another one on 14 august 2018 here is what website says :

On August 14, 2018, we mailed a request for additional evidence for your Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, Receipt Number xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxThe request for evidence explains what we need from you. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires. Please follow the instructions in the request for evidence. If you do not receive your request for additional evidence by September 13, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

i do not want to wait til last minutes any advises ? looking forward hearing from you.

You can try calling and getting a Tier 2 rep to tell you what is on the letter. The one you get on the phone might be helpful or they might not.

 

You can also try making an INFOPASS appointment and see if they can see what happened. I know they sometimes fax RFE's and other letters if they think it was lost or something went wrong. I saw one post where the person went to ask and it turns out the letter never got printed! 

 

You can also try just going to the e-request link listed above and putting in a request right away for the letter to be resent.

thank you very much for your advise i read on other posts after 15 days received nothing then i have to call to request one, tomorrow will finish 15 days so should i wait or just call tomorrow ?

I would call tomorrow after checking the mailbox.

today we got update on website that post office could not deliver the notice, so we had to call right away thanks to God they faxed it to us.

i got the letter already i want to send extra evidence that they do not ask for, is that okay ?

What was your RFE for? 

Yes you can send extra things. 

 

When you write the letter addressing the RFE write a paragraph about the extra evidence you are submitting at this time.

It was about small photo passport size of petitioner andi-130a for spouse, what should I put on top of envelope ? Or just addresses is enough ?

The address to return the requested information should be on the letter

Yes I found it so I put sender addresses on top and receiving addresse in the middle.. Thank you for your advise

hi everyone i finally responded to RFE i tracked the priority Mail it says delivered on 9 Sept 2018 on post office website, my question is it was delivered sunday 9 Sept does USCIS receive mails on sundays ? my second question when will they update website to response review after receiving RFE ?? thanks
