Staying with my fiancé

Hi so I asked this in another thread but didn’t get any replies so thought I try and make my own topic. Here’s my situation So me and my fiancé are still awaiting our noa2. We just sent back the rfe we had received. Im reading the next steps and wondering if it’s possible I can stay with him after the noa 2 is received until we can come to the USA together.  To do so I would have to take a leave from my job or quit but if I’m reading correctly I make enough with my savings and assets already for the AOS. Just wondering if it’s smart to do so and won’t mess anything up if I go and quit and live with him for 3 or 4 months

Doesn’t seem particularly smart to quit your job to go and wait with your fiancé  for 3-4 months

Also for assets, I believe you need 5x the difference between your actual income and your required (based on poverty level) income

I should of also mentioned I’m already visiting from October 20 to November 18. Already been approved from my job.  We originally thought he be able to come back to the USA with me but the whole process is taking longer than expected so I want to come back to the USA together. I’ll have over 10000 in savings so money not much of issue I’m just dont want to be denied at the aos for not being employed

Hi Steve! I used an online service when my husband was going through his K-1 process. He comes from Ecuador and was adviced to stay in his country and went on with his life until we got notified. So my advice would be to not quit your job by any means because USCIS looks into that and although it may not be deteremental, it can be risky to do so on their eyes. If you want you can ask Jorge from Skipthelawyers, he helped on with our case. Hope everything turns out great! :)
