Did you sign up for the alerts? It’s a little different than when I went through it, but my understanding is if your hubby gave them his number, he will be notified when he can pick it up. If not or you don’t receive one, he should go 2 weeks from today to check. Even if it’s says issued, the passport may not be ready.

It will be soon change to issue just continue to check your status and after that you seeing issue just wait within 14 days and after that you received message from dhl with proxy forms for pick up...

It changed today to issued, so now 14 more days I can't wait. Thanks for the advice

Issue means they stamped your visa to your passport but not send to dhl,the process will last within  14 days but not 14 days exactly. When dhl received your passport dhl will send you a message with proxy forms for pick up.

Hello Guys,

Scrappy,  sorry for posting my question in your topic. I'm new on this websit so bear with me... My question kinda relate to yours

My question:

My family and I (family of 5) went for  our F-3 IV interview (second interview for my wife and 3 kids after adjustment of status and first for me) on 24th July,  2018 and I think everything went fine. The consular officer requested we submit our passports together with a letter from our joint sponsor about why she will sponsor the family. So we submitted everything on 6th August,  2018 at the GSS/CGI office at DHL. Our status on the ceac site changed from AP to Ready on the 13th of August and has remained on  Ready till now. The last update on our status was on 30th August.

*How long do we have to wait to get our visas issued?

We were given the "Collecting your issued US immigrant visa" letter or form the day we submitted the letter from joint sponsor and passports.

Mine took 3 weeks from AP to Ready. And 2 days from Ready to Issued. So  hopefully yours will change to issued very soon. Just keep checking from tomorrow going.
