How long does it takes for an issued visa to be ready for pickup? Mine has been issued for the past one week and haven't heard anything from them.

Wow thats longer than usual. Mine took two days. Normally it takes between 2 to 5 days. Have you checked your case status online just incase it has been changed?

I just checked it and it's still issued. I called the Embassy and they said the delivery of the passport depends on the dhl. I'm kinda confused tho.

Call DHL  and find out where your passport is. Hopefully you get it soon.

For Ghana it normally takes 2 weeks from the interview for the visa to arrive at the DHL office. My husband’s status changed to issued the day of the interview, but it took 2 weeks to be available for pick up. I have two friends who were approved in the past month and had the same thing.

My husband was approved today, now status says Administrative Processing i know it is normal but when it changes to issued my husband can still call DHL or he has to wait two weeks before he calls

Did you sign up for the alerts? It’s a little different than when I went through it, but my understanding is if your hubby gave them his number, he will be notified when he can pick it up. If not or you don’t receive one, he should go 2 weeks from today to check. Even if it’s says issued, the passport may not be ready.

Yes we sign up for alerts, hopefully his passport is ready for pickup before two weeks. I want him here in three weeks. Thanks a lot

One word of advice, don’t book the ticket until you have the visa in hand. I know it can be tempting, but it’s best not to. I had a friend not listen to that advice and had to rebook multiple times because of delays on the embassy’s part.

Wow I really appreciate this advice,  I was thinking if it changes to issued I am safe to buy his ticket but now due to your advice I will  wait. Thank you once again

It will be soon change to issue just continue to check your status, and after seeing the status change just wait within 14 days and after that you received message from dhl with proxy forms  for pick up...
