He went to his doctor in Yakutsk and they've lost his records. He's been back 3 times but no luck and our NOA2 is in September. I suppose there is nothing left but for him to have absolutely everything done again. Any other options or ideas? He was trying to get proof of previous vaccinations and to take the needed vaccines from his local physician because it's our understanding that we must pay for each needed vaccines on top of the $260 medical fee.

Unfortunately he may have to do them again.  Since his interview won't be for a few months, maybe he can keep bugging his Dr. to try and find the records.  If he is resigned that this is a waste of time, then he can shop around and see if vaccines are cheaper in Yakutsk than at IOM in Moscow, or at any other USCIS certified medical clinic.

Good Luck!

there is a certain type of test that can be run to see if you have had certain vaccinations.  I forget what its called, but it may be cheaper to do that than to pay for all the vaccines again. even if you do have to do the vaccines, have them done at your regular doctors office. probably much cheaper than at the health exam

One site suggested this was called a titer test

From what I read, they take your blood, and run some tests on it looking for antibodies from past vaccines or cases when you had the disease (such as chickenpox/varicella). The site I was reading said it only took a few days, but I'm sure that doesn't count the extra time it takes due to other factors relating to where you got the test done (busy hospital for example).

Thanks, I just let him know. He is on his way to see what they can do. 😁

Note that I'm not positive this is the name of the test.
But from what I remember reading in the past here and some other places, they basically due a blood test and check for antibodies. I don't think this works for everything, so you may need some vaccines, but it's better than having to get them all.
