I think I remember someone mentioning if you have your tax returns you don't need this. I asked the bank for one 2 weeks ago and they still haven't gotten it to me. I'm headed to the Philippines Friday. Is it required or I am fine with my tax returns? My tax return shows I am a good bit above the 125% poverty line.

No need for a bank statement if you have your tax returns.

Most recent tax return and W2.   Meet or exceed the 125% requirement of the I-864P.

You are good to go!

By the time you are done with this whole process wasting $20 on something you didn't need will feel like losing a quarter in your sofa cushions))))

Finally done...

Bank statements are not needed.   But then neither is a letter from the bank.

The I-134 instructions don't really apply with the K-1.   Embassy is only interested in GROSS income
