I now have an appointment for my fiancee to pick up the visa at the CAS fingerprinting location in Bogota in a few days. Is it safe to purchase her flight for the following day?

I know nothing about Columbia, but by you asking this question means your not comfortable. I would buy a refundable ticket just in case but if it were me I wouldnt buy anything until you have the VISA. What if for some reason she cant get it until the next day? I wouldnt do it plus what is a one more day to the cost of airfare thats already high due to buying close to the departure? Just me....and congrads

It is advised not to make any travel plans like buying tickets until visa is in hand. Simple things like wrong spelling of name on visa among other things could happen.
