Permanent residency and going to school abroad

Hello, I currently live in a USA border town. I live here with a 2 year conditional green card (originally a k1 visa holder). 

 

My question is, can I take a college course in my home country of canada one day a week. Crossing the border has never been an issue but I just want to make sure I'm not breaking any rules or putting my permanent residency status in jeopardy.
