I am curious how long does it take from case complete to getting an interview date for IR1?

Also, I have observed that the Montreal slows down during summer every year and picks up speed later in the summer. Is that so in your experience as well?

I got CC last week so I can definitely let you know when I receive interview date. From my readings and other's updates on this forum, the wait time is a little over 2 months due to the workers in Montreal taking holidays. I expect my interview to be late October/early November.

Removing Conditions timeline:

  • I-90 accidentally submitted - 2020-08-14
  • I-751 submitted & received - 2021-03-26
  • Biometrics applied to case - 2021-04-21
  • Ready to schedule interview - 2021-12-22
  • Interview scheduled - 2022-01-04
  • Interview - 2022-02-01 / Postponed
  • New 10 year card being sent out!!!!
    2022-02-03 / Case Approved 2022-02-04

Congratulations on getting case complete!

I wonder now that summer's ending we might see Montreal speed up. Good luck to you and I hope you get your interview date soon!

Do they assign interview dates at set times such as beginning of the month, end of the month etc. or you can get an interview date assigned pretty much anytime?

@Bethany123 and @CanadianinUSA , you guys aren't far behind Uncola and should get an interview date soon, hang in there. Has Montreal not scheduled any more interviews since August 09/10?
