Hello wonderful people

I need your advice

my husband  sent his I-751 form two weeks ago, and just 2 days ago he realized he didnt sent anything with his package.

I did my research and we were suppose to send evidence, copy of his green card and a lot more stuff. ahhhh so at this point

I am soo stressed out.

Should I go ahead and sent out a new package or should I wait to hear from USCIS California Service Center?

has this happen to anyone else?

thanks!

Have they cashed the check yet?  One option might be to cancel the check, withdraw the I-751, then resubmit.........otherwise, you are looking at a lengthy wait for either an RFE or a flat-out denial.

BTW, this sounds like the type of "place holder" case which will be denied......

Send a letter to USCIS.

That policy to outright deny petitions like this isn't technically in effect yet, but I would also be concerned about a denial in this case instead of an RFE.

Option 1) Continue as is and hope for an RFE, and refile if denied.

Option 2) Writer a letter to revoke the petition and submit a new one. You may be able to do both in 1 step by sending the withdrawal letter with the new petition. Also include a letter describing why the second petition is late being filed (as required...it should be obvious to them but they are sticklers for explicitly defined documentation).
