Hey there, my wife's AOS application has been showing "Ready to be scheduled for interview" since January 09 of this year. We applied in November of 2017 and she had her biometrics in December.

Well, she checked the DOH website today and when she logged in, the "Ready to be scheduled for interview" does not show up in her case history. Instead, it has went back to "Case was received".

We are kind of freaking our here right now. Has this happened to anyone else? Thank you for any reply you may have..

Oh wow. Hmm, well I heard that they might be trying to phase out egov.USCIS.gov for case tracking and switch over to the DHS site. Your case may be one that has been updated on the DHS site and the officer with your case hasn't bothered to load it into egov. So that might explain why yours and some other people's cases haven't been displaying proper information on both sites.

You can try calling USCIS and talking to a Tier 2 rep to confirm what they see on their end. Sometimes, the rep is nice and will be helpful. Other times, they'll just try to get you off the phone. Back in May, after I had gotten my EAD, I called to ask about our case because there were no updates on our I-485 except "Case Received". The lady told me our case had been put in line for an interview request and even told me the exact date it happened. We never got the "case is ready to be scheduled" notification. Our case updated this week on egov to say our interview's been scheduled (finally). But after seeing your thread, I checked the DHS site as well and guess what?? It says "case ready to be scheduled" and it has the same date the lady had told me! Moral of the story: they are not very efficient with the update system.

I suggest calling them. Here's what I did: when they ask you to choose an option for your call, press the option to change/verify your address. It'll connect you to a Tier 2 rep immediately. They won't even ask about your address. They'll just ask what you need help with. When I told the lady I just wanted to know the status of my I-485, that's when she told me the date our case was put in line. So give it a try and see if the rep can tell you what they see on their end.
